Tightness of astro saber accessory screw?

How tight should I tighten this screw. I know the antenna retainer can hold the speaker mic. on, but how tight should I tighten the screw on the accesory connector.
Also, when I use a slow rate charger with an 1800mAh battery, how long do I leave it on?
Thanks.

Tyler,
If it's one of the 100mAh chargers, then 18 hours ideally. (I think that's what my porta-pocket is)
I guess just tighten the screw so that it's nice and firm, and cant be turned too much anymore, but be careful not to tighten it too much.

the user manual says HAND TIGHT and I would agree. Overtightening can damage the threads and eventually you'll need to replace the control top which is a PITA and being that the Astro Saber is soon to be no longer supported, the cost of new parts will skyrocket if they haven't already.
If the battery in question is a Nicad such as an NTN4595 or 4596 and you are talking about the porta-pocket charger, I believe it is 16 hours.

Snug, Ive had a few that have been over tightened. They have cracked the connector. If your having issues with the pins making contact just give them a little push up with a small jewlers screwdriver, over time they flatten out .
