MT-2000 RSS in Win2K and XP?

I have been using MTSX RVN4097V v.R06.08.00 without problems in an old DOS computer, to program a fleet of MT-2000 portables (UHF 450-512).

The DOS computer will not keep running forever, and I need to set up my MT-2000 programming in a Windows 2000 or Windows XP-based computer. I've tried this in one Win2K computer, the RSS appears to have all of its functions in a DOS window, but I get communication errors when trying to read an MT-2000.

Is there a way to get this DOS-based RSS running in a new computer, and talking to the RIB and MT2000?

I'd like to see any solutions by email.

Thanks,

NO, and this has been brought up by almost every new member on here. the computer don't have to be extremely old but you need to run 98 or me on it with a fat32 file system. it looks like you have the latest version of the rss and it will run on a pentium machine but it will not run in any version of a dos window or a ntfs file system. basically if you find a machine that has 98 or me on it the rss will run on it. just create yourself a 98 or me boot disc and use that to start the machine in dos then run your rss and it will work. if you keep trying to make it program a radio in a dos window it's possible it will eventually try to program a radio but 99% chance it will fail and you will lose the radio.
