Going back to an old firmware?!?

I updated the firmware on my HT1550XLS to 5.13.04 but I failed to realize it would bring my radio so far up to date that is will no longer work with my version of CPS 6.07.04. Should I try to get moto to reflash my radio to a firmware that will work with my version of CPS?

I think you will find that Motorola will tell you that your SOL and will only get the current
version firmware.

Bite the bullet and get the current version of the RSS.

you can not go backwards with firmware and motorola definately won't do that, if you sent it in to them to be fixed or flat rated it will come back with the newest firmware in it. how did you get the newest firmware if you don't have a subscription for the cps? just download the newest cps.

thanks for the info, I was pretty sure I could not go backwards but thought I would ask. I am in the process of applying for CPS myself now, I just got my online account approved. The version I have came to me with my radio when I purchased it. The seller did not have any moto radios left so he included his version of CPS. I even went online and submitted a license agreement @ M so I felt legit. I am just unable to apply for updates until I get my own account approved. So I guess I just have to wait until then :)

thanks for the info!
