can I tell which case connector I need W/O disasembling

I would like to buy a replacement case for my XTS3000 M2 as seen on ebay or such. I am aware there are different types of connectors and I would like to know how to tell which connector I need to look for without having to disassemble my radio. All original tags/flashes/serial numbers are still on the radio if they would tell me, however I don't have it with me at the moment or i would post them here.
Thanks for any guidance.

What's the model number of the radio?
If the model number ends in AN, then it should take the A type connector... If it ends in BN, then it should take the B type connector..
This is all based on if the radio hasn't had it's board swapped in the past, and the internals match the revision on the rear tag...
