Ok, Going to hang myself. I searched here, but no up to date answer.

Is the newest MT2000 software RSS or CPS? Is it MT2000 or MTSX?

What is the correct latest version number?

mt2000 is rss only and the last release was 6.07 and the actual name of it is mtsx. it will do the mt2000, mts2000, and the mtx radios.

Is MTSX software still available? I tried looking up the old DOS MTS on MOL but nothing comes up. Or do they have the disk bundled in with the RVN4176 MTS CPS now?

Or is it NLA.

I know MTSX is what I'm looking for but my question is is it still available from Motorola? I have looked up the old DOS part number in MOL and nothing comes up. So if it's still available what part number do I need to look up?

It is NLA.

RVN4176 is CPS for the MTS radios only.

Thanks for your reply. That's what I was afraid of. I know when they first came out with the MTS CPS they were still including the MTSX diskette with it but I guess they decided to discontinue it all altogether. I was going to buy an MT2000 from a member of the board but he does not know with what version of MTSX it was programmed with when he bought it several years ago. The last version I received before my subscription ran out was version 6.07. How long as version 6.08 been out? I did not want to waste my money in buying a radio that I couldn't program myself.

i've had the subscription for over 6 years and i still havn't seen 6.08. all of the updates i've got in the mail have had 6.07 with it still?

When did DOS 6.08 of MTSX come out? I have 6.07 which is dated Nov 14 2002. And according to HLA he has never gotten a 6.08 disk with his subscription so just curious.

I have version R06.08.00 dated June 10, 2005

i just went and looked back thru all of the boxes, even the most recent and they still say 6.07 so i don't know what to tell you. i've never had 6.07 not read anything but i will look into getting the new one if i've been paying for it?

Well I wish you luck in getting it if you have been paying for it over the past 6 years. I wish I could get myself but my subscription ran out years ago. So I guess I'm SOL in terms of getting it now.
