HT750 Problems

I picked up an HT750 recently. It's a UHF 16 channel version. Upon power up, it emits a low beep for about 1 second. It will not transmit on any channel - only beeps when any key is pressed (including the PTT).

When trying to read using CPS 6.05.03 I get this error:

Image is corrupted. Checksum for R/W region failed

Trying to write a codeplug (from codeplugsupersite.com) to the radio crashes CPS with this error:

The instruction at "0x73dd11c7" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not be "read".

Any thoughts? Ideas to try?
Thanks!

Help a new guy out here... Can you provide some more details or be more specific? Firmware upgrade? What's required to make this happen?

Thanks!

first clean the contacts on the side of the radio and try your computer/rib/cable setup on a different radio and see if it works correctly. next what are the exact model numbers and firmware on the back of your radio. if it has new firmware your old cps won't work.

Cable and CPS work fine on other radios - I don't think it's either of those.

Just tried cleaning the contacts with no luck there.

The model number is AAH25RDC9AA3AN. There is no mention of the firmware version number on the labels. "Tanapa: PMUE1434A" is listed, but no version number.
