DC Line filters

Post by JD »

I am going to start using a Dc line filter on all of my mobil installs. I have had very good luck with the 80 amp Motorola filter, kind of pricy.

My customers are wanting something less expensive. ICT has a 12 , 25 and 40 amp unit that looks rugidly built.

Any feedback on these would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I haven't used the the ict filters I have used alot of the converters and power supplies. Im very impressed. I use the kenwood filters sold by kenwood I think their like $50.00 bucks I don't remember exactly but have had very good use out of them. I have not really had to install them with most radios unless they were older kenwood radios or older ambulances and fire engines.
