Quick question on Astro Spectra W4

Post by asmitty0010 »

Just got a quick question about an astro spectra and the keypad (W4). In the picture I pointed out two keypad buttons. What do these do? I know on this Control head you select the modes using the rotory knob so what do the up and down arrows do? And what does F/R stand for?

Also, not pictured in this control head but I've seen some with a keypad button that is like a "0" with a line through it...what exactly is that?

Thanks guys!

F/R - In dual head configuration, this is used to change operation between the two head - Front Head and then the Rear Head

Circle with line through it is encryption on/off.

I have my UP/Down Arrows programmed to change zones.

Just keep in mind that most of the buttons on the radio are programmable via the CPS/RSS.
