Quick question on an XTS5000 I recently picked up. The radio is in VHF model# H18KEH9PW7AN Flash Code # 560008-000586-7. Now when I run the flash code in radio refrence it is telling me that GE Star is an avaliable option but when I lok in the CPS it is not there. Any thoughts? I am reading and weriting with CPS version 10.

Unfortunately GEStar is not available in the ASTRO25 radios. The RR flashcode decoder reads a newer option as GEStar. Use the Akardam decoder and it will show up as the correct option.

H451 GE STAR and Q52 Federal Government FPP use the same bit apparently...

Yeah I really thought that was kinda weird too. I really did not believe that GE Star would be an option in a radio as new as an XTS5000. Thanks for the help and that site is awesome.

An MTS2000 will do GE Star if flashed for it, and that radio was discontinued only a few years ago.. I think that was the last one to support it..

Yes I did see that. I believe even an MT2000 might possibly support ANI as well. I just hope that my department eventually will drop it in the near future.

Yup, I have an MT2000 that supports GE-Star ANI.
