Motorola Desktrac Question

Hi, i was wondering if someone could tell me if it was possible to build a desktrac with 2 maxtracs or something, so tha t it uses one head, but 2 radio's for TX and RX?
The Desktrac came in a repeater configuration with 2 radios. It is full duplex. When you use the local mic, you tx on one radio, rx on the other.
Look for the ones with TWO antenna connectors in the back.
