Anyone have a clue what this "SERVICE" message is when you try reading an Astro Spectra? This is a model
D04UJH9SW7AN. It won't allow the CPS to continue.

Using version R05.02.00.

Think this is the same or newer than the radio was programmed with.

Your model number indicates its an astro spectra PLUS. Your using the wrong cps. Use APCO25 CPS. You will need the astro spectra PLUS programming cable as well. APCO25 CPS is up to version 11.

Thanks Jason, that solved my problem.

Second question, it seems the radio is limiting me to only 10 talkgroups in a scan list. Never seen this before. I
was under the impression that the limit was 16. I don't get the green + at the top of the list or if I right click,
it doesn't allow me to enter any more channels to the list. One of the trunking personalities has 13 talkgroups
and the other has 16. Both limit me to the 10 number. Any ideas.

Trunking scan on all Motorola radios is limited to 10 talkgroups.

Conventional scan on all Motorola radios is limited to 16 channels.
