Has anyone ever tried to use a Palm Pilot Treo 750 with WIndows Mobile 6.0 to program or use any of the CPS applications? Does Motorola support this? USB cables for the P-25 software?

Thanks!

Jim

Motorola won't even support Vista, I'm pretty sure Palm is out of the question.

I gathered as much, but since it's a Windows operation system, I thought I may be lucky... You gotta admit that it would be ultra cool to be able to use it and just keep my P-25 USB cables in the car. Yeah; when monkeys fly...

Get yourself an FPP XTS5K and you won't have to be concerned with
all that extra paraphernalia to do "emergency" programming. FPP, IMHO,
is definitely worth the cost.

I have FPP, but the SO, FD, and PD do not, nor do a whole lot of other people. I was thinking more for the use of reading another agency's radios when I'm working in their jurisdiction in case I wanted their stuff in mine. 812 channels are a lot to fill!

Well; that at least gives me some hope! Looks likw I've got some experimenting to do on Monday when my new toy comes in! Thanks very much for the info! I'll give Motorola a call and hassel them into helping me or telling me to piss off. I can usually annoy someone enough to tell me one way or the other...
