Can you convert a UHF radio to a VHF radio. If you can how hard is it.
The short answer to your question is "no." It's much easier to just get
the right radio to start with and go from there. Some HTs can be converted
but it's still usually more hassle than it's worth. In effect, you have to change
out almost the entire guts of the radio.
