Does anyone know what the latest Host/DSP revision if for the ASTRO Spectra radios???

I have just purchased a unit that is using the W3 control head with the following and I am wondering if it's worth sending it into the depot for a refresh.

Unit's current version is:
R11.00.01
N07.03.06

The latest Host/DSP I've seen for the Astro Spectra is Host R11.71.06 DSP N08.03.05

I wouldn't personally send the radio all the way to the depot for a firmware refresh. You ought to be able to go to a local competent MSS, have them order the refresh kit (should run you about $75), and then perform the refresh (at whatever their labor rate is). It's also likely that there are board members who could assist you once you have the kit in hand.
