Is there a way to increase the microphone gain on an MTS2000? I'm finding the mic level on my MTS2000 to be quite low compared to my HT1250.

Well, I just looked on my MTSX DOS version, and could not find anything about a Mic Gain. I may be missing something, but it looks like there is not an option. I downloaded a VHF MTS2000 A7 Codeplug, and checked it out, as I only have a MT2000. Nothing that I found. Maybe something in the CPS software for the MTS2000, but I can not find anything in the DOS version.

Hope this helps.

in the MTS2000 tuner CPS there is an option for it, under TX alignment settings.
not sure about RSS, would most likely be in the same place.

In MTSX RSS under TX Alignment .. there is Internal Mic Gain ... 0 - 9 scale (*i think*) .. I bumped that up, didn't seem to effect much.

You can use Micedit.exe to set it.
It´s a part of Wookie Mobius Lab or MTS20xx Wookie RSS.
