Hello,

I'm looking for the Moto part number of the SO-239 antenna connector (cracked from overtightening and broke off) on a Motorola Clean Cab Railroad Radio. I can't find the model number on it but its a 2001 or 2002 model(But its not the latest Astro type). Where should the model # be?

Also can you order Moto parts online or do I have to go to a local dealer?

Thanks for the help,

Brian

The complete coax hood and antenna connector assembly is:

0102702A18

It lists for around $ 26

Setting up an account to order direct from Motorola is not easy.

There is a dealer that does online orders with a slight discount:

http://www.myradiomall.com/cgi-bin/cate ... category=0

Enter the part number in the "quick search" box at the top of their web page.

If the radio is a Spectra Clean Cab but not an Astro, the radio model number should be MBR43KME1170AD

Board member escomm can also order most anything in the Motorola parts catalog, with a 10% discount off list for Batlabs members. Shoot him a PM.

I haven't looked at the back of one in a while, but I thought the Clean Cab Spectras used an ordinary chassis-mount SO-239 connector. I'd think you could just replace it with a generic Amphenol connector and save many $$$ over buying an entire assembly from M.
