Zetron/Motorola ZR320

I bought a ZR320 at hamvention last weekend for a good price (or so I thought)... Of course, it came with no manual.

A call to Zetron gave me mixed results. A call on hamvention Friday gave me hope because I person I spoke with said he'd e-mail me the info he had, but I never received the e-mail. A call on Monday gave me a "we can't give you that information because we were under contract from Motorola". A call today was even worse (hoping I was going to be able to talk to the first guy who was pretty awesome) and was told that only Motorola would be able to give me the info I desired.

So, Zetron wants to be a bastard. I was able to look up the manual on MOL for a hefty $45, which is pretty crappy since Z gives manuals for the rest of their branded items for free via PDF download.

Does anyone have a ZR320 manual they might be either A) willing to sell me used, or just scan a few pages of DTMF programming, or the pinout for the programming jack on the front/interfacing to a computer (assuming RS-232 and a hyperterminal app is all that is needed). I also would like to know the pinout for the rear connectors so I can connect them into my GR300. I would think the pinout is the same as the RICK. I have three 16-pin connectors, one for Accessory, TX and RX.

If someone can help, they'll save me from buying a new manual I don't really want and that costs well over what I paid for this repeater controller/telephone interconnect.

I believe I have what you need. PM an e-mail address and I'll put it in a pdf for you. BTW, the program jack is for GM300 cable and RIB and uses GM300 RSS in repeater mode.

Interesting, but the jack is an RJ11, not an RJ45. PM sent

I don't have one here to look at but I think the RJ11 is on the rear and for telephone patch. The programming plug should be on the front and be 8 pins.
