Help with NTN5438A pinout and other

Hi all,

I have to admit I'm new to your site and this is my first post.

I purchased an NTN5438A mobile charger Dayton to use with my MT-1000's, which I use mostly for Amateur Radio.
(They work great for that, as I'm sure you all know)

So, I'm looking, at a minimum, for the pinout on the big back connector.
I have the connector and it has two wires connected, which I suppose are 12v and gnd, but I'd like to confirm.

I searched around on your forum and found some articles from 2005, sort of asking for the same thing, but didn't seem to conclude.

Anybody know a source for the pinout, or even better, a manual of some sort? Also, do these things work pretty well? Do they require 13.8V; how low of a voltage can they run on and still charge the battery? Anyway, all these and more are probably answered in the user manual.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Dan (KZ9B)

Ok, if this is the charger like the one I have at the house with 2 switches on it, the large round connector should be 6 pins and for a Pac-RT cable. the functions and color of the standard cable should be here:

Hope that helps if not let me know and I'll do some more checking for you.
