I am trying to figure out which kit is the proper one. Problem is, there are no tags on the radio, and I don't know if the SN is correct for the radio. What I have to go on, is a "E" revison VHF RF board, green gasket for the top, red gasket for the control head (O5 dash mount) and the O head has a HLN6903E/HLN1463E.
To me, it seems like a more recent radio, but not sure. Any other tricks on unknown radios on what is the proper kit?
What is the difference between the two kits out there?
My only experience are with the the W series XTL's.
Thanks

Re: XTL5000 dash to remote kit part numbers?
You want the
H1823 option and then select a control cable for the distance from the transceiver.
H1823 - under 650.00
Cables vary for the distance you want to run
CoM

If the lights are out when you leave the station and then come on the second you key up, you know you have enough power.
