Problem with XTS2500. Alignment issue?
Posted: Wed May 28, 2008 2:58 pm
Hi all!
I have purchased XTS2500 (H46QDH9PW7BN) from Panter88.
It works fine in analog mode and in digital on RX. But this one has problems with digital transmissions. When I receive transmissions on another XTS2500 (brand new), it practically always is silent (no demodulated sound). Uniden BCD996T only sometimes demodulates transmissions, but as a rule only clicks. Astro Saber demodulates it is most, but thus the voice has distortions or demodulation process breaks in AAAAAAAAAAAA......
As a result of experiments I have find out, that my control receivers can successfully demodulate only on transmissions from 453..467 MHz range (I tried 403..470 range with 5 MHz step). By transmissions on other frequencies all my digital receivers practically always is silent.
Another XTS2500 (brand new) behaves on another - transmissions on any frequencies in 403..470 range demodulates with 100% cleanliness.
What is it? Non-aligned (aka blanked) XTS2500? :(
How I can fix it? Using a ASTRO 25 Tuner?
Current alignment data:
How you think, which of parameters can be responsible for it?
Any other ideas?
Any help will be appreciated!
