The idea to change from PL to DPL on the vhf MSR2000 to eliminate intermittent skip seemed like a good idea to everyone at the time. A simple card switch from PL to DPL most agreed.
Wrong!! The DPL card will transmit and receive DPL to key the repeater but the problem is audio or the lack there of, not even a hiss. Put the PL card back in and it works fine. We tried another DPL card which rendered the same results and find no help in the manuals. Are we missing a jumper or two somewhere after countless hours reading and probing??

A change to the PL card would of helped eliminate the PL false-ing, or 'skip'.

I do not have my book here and going from memory, there is something that needs to be changed for the DPL card.
