XTS5000 Questions

Hey guys had a couple quick questions about the XTS5000.
1st - Checked the Flash on our radios at work, (800mhz, APCO25, digital trunking, Austin Public safety system) and they have "Q574 9600 Baud Trunking [ a25p ]". What is the difference between this and "Q361 ASTRO 25 9600 Baud Trunking [ a25p ]"? Im confused because my understanding is that we are on an APCO25 standard trunking system so wouldnt the radio's need the Q361 Flash instead or is there even a difference?
2nd - What are the technical differences between standard 5000 and the ruggedized version? Can you upgrade a regular to the "ruggedized" version with a case change or something?
