Hello,
I have a VHF High MSR 2000 146-174MHZ. I was wondering if this unit will go to 144.61 without mods? If it will not go to 144.61 what kind of mods do I need to get it operational at that Freq?

Jeremy,
The station you have will not cover the whole range of 146 to 174, these are broken down by sub ranges.
What is the frequency on the channel elements? And numbers on the receiver, exciter, RF boards?
The numbers on the power amplifier?
This will help to identify the sub range.

The station alone will not like the low frequency of 144.100 without mods.
The lowest the receiver and the exiter will go is 146.1 without any degridation.
If you want 144.1 then look for the 136-150 split, (hard to find) or get out your applied electronics book and start changing components.
