Motorola P110 Programming Issues

I have a VHF (146-174 MHz) 6 channel P110. When I program the radio, the frequencies I plugged in the first 3 channels also program in the last 3, totally overriding what I want in channels 4-6.

Anyone know why this is happening? :o :o :o

The P110 could be a two channel with a different knob and esc.

Someone else suggested that it may be a 2 channel. I can't see that being the case since I can plug in at least 3 different freqs. Like I said earlier, those first 3 channels become "mirrored" on the last 3 channels.

Thank you,

Hello :
Seems to me i recall someone else had a problem similar to yours awhile back and it turned out to be a bad ch selector switch or a bad solder on one of the ch address lines from the ch sw.
Just an idea for you to consider.

I'm going to let a ham that I know, who works for Motorola fiddle with it.

I think that's my best bet to try and save this radio.

I do want to thank everyone who tried to help me out with this problem.

Once I get the answer to what happened, I will let you guys know.

Thank You,
