Squelch Adjustment Problem With New CDMs

We are receiving new VHF CDM1250's with firmware R05.07.02 and when we use the tuner software to try to adjust the squelch, it is greyed out and unavailable. We are currently using Tuner R02.13.00 and Motorola advised we need to use older R02.12.00 due to this being a known problem with R02.13.00. I tried R02.12.00 and it does not work either, neither does R02.11.00, R02.06.00 etc...
Motorola sounded so confident too...
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have a bunch of these waiting to ship...

what's the radio doing that you need to change the squelch? you don't change the squelch in the tuner.

Thanks for the reply HLA, we like to tighten up the squelch a bit from the factory setting.
On the CDM we do in fact do the squelch setting in the tuner.

Yep, I have 6 shiny new CDM's sitting here with the same problem. The customer likes their squelch setting @ -115dbm, and I can't do it. Motorola gave me the same runaround, as well as saying their usual excuse "we havent heard of many people having this problem"...I bet anyone with a new Motorola has this problem. I am going to try even an older tuner than what was posted above, and see if that helps, but I am sure that this is a Moto Firmware or Hardware issue in the radio itself. This is just another nail in the coffin for Motorola. Their tech support and reliability is really going downhill lately. Guess they are too busy trying to sell RAZR's. Kenwood here I come.

Thanks for the reply, actually there is a fix now from Motorola, a small patch that works. We got it over a week ago so I am not sure why they didn't provide it. We got it by calling 800-927-2744.
This is the name of the file in case they need reminding "Patch_Tool_to_solve_C3_21555934.exe" so I am assuming they call this problem C3_21555934 for your reference.
Good luck.
