M120 VHF Repeater with UHF uplinking

gday all, i currently have a M120 vhf repeater running and id like to use a uhf radio to uplink bi directionaly to the vhf repeater but to also TX the same signal that the VHF does. is it as simple as hooking up a extra radio between the COR, PTT ,RX audio and Ground pins? so that when the vhf repeater is being used it is transmiting the same signal over the uhf link radio but when the uhf link radio receives a signal it transmits it out via the vhf repeater? thanks in advance .
