MT1000 repair needed

I have a VHF that wont power up. and a Low band that has very low audio. this is in the internal speaker and the same problem with a speaker mic connected. if anyone has the setup for these repairs and willing to look at them please pm me with contact info and your labor rates.

On the radio that won't power up check the fuse, on the bottom, its the green thing that looks like a 1/4w resistor. Take out the screws and remove it and check with a ohm meter or test light and a battery.
As for the one with the low audio problem, not sure there, since it happens with both the internal speaker and the speaker mic it could be a bad volume control pot. Does the audio sound scratchy when adjusting the volume level?

no noise just very low audio.

On the MT1000 you can adjust the receive audio level range via the Motorola RSS.
If this is a newly purchased radio it's possible that it was previously set to a very low level.
The audio output range can be set by the RSS softpot between a range of 0 to 255 with 245 being a comfortable high level.

Could be that, if someone accidently turned it down when programming it.

The fuse on the VHF radio is good it is the one that wont power up. anybody else want to take a look?
