I'm looking for the basic XTL5000 faceplate for the O5 type control head but I'm having difficulty in finding the part number in the archives or elsewhere.

That's kind of vauge. What, exactly, are you looking for?

I'm assuming you mean the plastic faceplate only. For refurbing a scratched up or marked up control head?

correct. no electronics.

The front housing part number is 1564047H02
The knob part numbers are 3664445H01 (mode) and 3664022H01 (volume).

The manual shows the knobs separate from the housing. Removing the knobs can be done, but it is difficult not to damage them in the process.
