Looking for assistance finding out the make of a tower in order to obtain loading information. Here is what I know:

-Constructed 1980-1985
-Three Sided self supporting
-25" wide at the base
-1" corner posts
-3/8" lattuce
-tower is four sections total
-estimated height 80 feet.

My first guess is a Pirod made tower. They normally use that funky looking leg attachment plate.

You might look on the metal plates where the sections bolt together and see if there is some
sort of number stamped into the metal there. It may be on the side or on the flat away from
the end of the tower. The leg metal should be solid and not hollow.

I agree with Jim that your tower appears to be a Pi-Rod tower by the construction. Pi-Rod was bought out by Valmont perhaps ten (10) years ago and you might want to look at their tower selection on the following web page link:

You guys are right on. It is a Pirod tower and I did contact Valmont in Plymouth, IN. They were very helpful. Thank you for sending me in the right direction.
