I have a CDM1550LS+ that is acting up after programming. I the radio seems to be in constant open-squelch mode, on all frequencies. The local repeater breaks squelch if I attach a little piece of Coax to the unit, but still the squelch is open and I have a blinking red LED.

The codeplug I formally had in this radio had frequencies slightly lower and higher than what is currently in the radio, so I don't think the issue is that it's not locking on the frequency. I have unassigned monitor from any buttons as well, so I am stumped on this issue.

Anyone have any ideas?

If the radio was operating correctly before you changed frequencies, my first
instinct would be to set the squelch tighter. You will need the software to
adjust this some.

Well, I got it fixed. I'm not sure exactly how, but I did.
