XTL5000 "O5" Display Contrast adjustment

Post by Josh »

Like the title eludes, is there any way to adjust the display contrast? My radio's contrast is rather high, I didn't see any pots in the control head and I didn't see any adjustment in the CPS.

Yeah, along the lines of getting a replacement control head. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to adjust the contrast.

Replacing the control head is the only way to resolve the issue.

The HLE1452 control heads are junk and need to be exchanged for the HLE1466 at minimum.

If the lights are out when you leave the station and then come on the second you key up, you know you have enough power.
