A battery with impres on it came with a radio I just purchased. The battery is a nntn4437b. The charger is a kit no. ntn7209a model aa16740. Is this charger a impres charger?

If not, can you point me to a place to purchase a impres charger and spare battery?

no that's an old style dual chemistry (nicd and nimh) charger

you need a WPLN4111AR charger

if you're looking for a spare battery I'd recommend a NTN6034AR 4150mAh lithium ion battery.... the customer feedback on these has been phenomenal, super lightweight and 2x the capacity of the "stock" battery
