GTX LTR -- trunking channel numbers

In the RSS, it seems to convert the frequency entered in the trunking personality into the FCC channel number.

You can program it for out of band, program, and still be stuck with the closest FCC channel number.

Where is the magic list stored? The RSS or the firmware?

I received some assistance, and wanted to share.

I think I figured out which values need to be changed in GTX.EXE.

Get out Hex Workshop. Use the base converter. All values are Intel double(64)

1. CHANGE 00041D99
FROM 0000000000008C40 (896)
TO 0000000000308C40 (902)

2. CHANGE 00041DA1
FROM 66666666E6068C40 (896.8625)
TO 66666666E6368C40 (902.8625)

3. CHANGE 00041DD9
FROM 0000000000804340 (39) [RX/TX OFFSET]
TO 0000000000003940 (25)

4. CHANGE 00041DE1
FROM 0000000000388D40 (935)
TO 0000000000F88C40 (927)

5. CHANGE 00041DE9
FROM 66666666E63E8D40 (935.8625)
TO 66666666E6FE8C40 (927.8625)

I can't find my GP300/GTX programming cable, so I can't test.

OK, seems to be working in Site Block.

Channel 001 - 079 are in the 33cm band.
