I have a cdm 1250 and on every channel it cuts of the first few words when it goes into recieve mode. Is there anything to do to correct this?

You need to provide some more info.

Like is the radio in scan mode? If in scan mode, how many channels are you trying to scan?

Are the frequencies using tone squelch to mute the receiver and are you using the tone squelch?

Does this happen on all channels or just some of the channels?

Is the signal your trying to receive strong or weak?

Has the radio always done this or was some programming changes done recently?

Is this on a conventional simplex channel or a repeater?

Do you have MDC signaling enabled on the receive?
