MDC Signaling Disabled when trying to Program a HT1250-LS+

I recently got a brand new Motorola HT-1250-LS+ that was used in a Fire Department someplace and it had 4 LS Trunking freq's programed into it.
What I did was I just erased them and put in my Conventional Channels and used the radio for a while, now I went back to reprogram it and add a unit ID via MDC Signaling and the whole page is grayed out on all my 12 personalities.
Any idea why and how to rectify it so that I can put the signaling in?

There are two tiers of LS+ radios...limited & full, basically. Your model is the lower tier...only capable of 18 conventional personalities, with no MDC signalling. Your model number needs to end in "7AN" or "9AN" to have the full capabilities. Yours likely ends in "6AN", correct? Unfortunately, you're pretty well stuck with what you have.

to reiterate, the lower tier models ONLY do signalling (MDC while ON AN LTR system), and the upper tier can do QC2 & MDC on conventional.
makes sense to someone. ::shrug::

The model of my radio is AAH25SDH9DP5AN.
So I guess its out of the question then.
Well thank you all for the help!
