I got one of the radios online is a GTX 900 , I tried reading the radio , but can't get access to it , it says this model exceeds the amount of conventional channels allowed. so I have no luck to get it read

Most likely it was programmed with RSS that had the .mdf file modified for 15 channels (and Ham freqs).
You need to modify your .mdf file.
