Hello all, John de N0TOP hr. I have a 99 channel Maratrac and
was wondering how to setup user scan channels ?

The hardest part will be getting a computer to run the software...

Once you accomplish that, open a codeplug or read a radio. From the main menu press F4 to change/view/create codeplug data. At the next menu press F2 for radio configuration. In the config screen press F7 for scan configuration. From that point it's pretty self explainitory.

From the main menu once a codeplug is loaded into the computer:

F4>F2>F7

When you have USER Scan selected and programmed into the radio:

Press SCAN and hold until it beeps. Then go thru each Mode and using the Sel button add or delete that mode from the Scan List.
There are three settings, solid PRI, flashing PRI, and NonPRI on the indicators to the right of the Mode display.
Press Home to save the settings.
