Hi all
Can anyone tell me the pins of the mic socket (6pin RJ12)
that one would use to read\write to this radio useing the rib (RLN4008B)
from batlabs site, i think that only the +bus and gnd are needed

I was also told that the cable (3080070n01) is the one to use with
the rib, but that has got an RJ45(8pin) on the end of it, and seems
to be for gm300, m100 and pm400, and not gor the M110

Thanks in advance
Howard

The M110 is a different programming cable altogether. The software needed to program is the MC Micro (IIRC). The proper M110 cable does not use the RIB.

The MC Micro, M110, and the R100, AKA German Maxtrac, are the predecessors to the Maxtrac.

Hi all
Well this is not helping me much!
But from looking at the pin out for the mic (RJ12)
it looks like Pin6 is the gnd, but iam unsure about
which pin is the BUS+ is connected to ( maybe it is pin 1)?

J1001 (RJ12)

PIN DESCRIPTION
1 HUB(HOOK)/PGM
2 RX audio
3 PTT
4 Mic Hi 5 AUDIO GND
6 GND

Thanks again
Howard

Howard,

Look at the MC Micro page and programming cable. http://batlabs.com/micro.html http://batlabs.com/images/micro.gif
http://batlabs.com/images/r100.gif is the R100 cable which is much the same

I found that the 2.2k resistors are a bit too low of a value for some RS232 ports. I use 4.7 k resistors in place of the two 2.2k resistors.
