MDC on MTX9250

I have an MTX9250 and I can't enable MDC. Every menu item associated with MDC is greyed out and not acessable. The help file has several items about MDC and mentions "Conventional Systems." I don't see anything about "Conventional Systems" anywhere. I know this is a cockpit error, where am I going wrong? Oh, I forgot, the model is: AAH25WCH4GB6AN Firmware version: R01.03.54
Thanks

I have a couple of trunking MTX9250's. I haven't figured out how to turn on MDC on conventional, but I haven't spent any time trying since they are used on systems in my area. They do work rather well on Ham as well.
I think I remember reading that the MTX8250's supported MDC, so that's might be where the feature in the software exists for (and may not be avaliable on 900), but I can't be 100% sure.

No, I don't think MDC is supported on the MTX8250 either. All MDC fields grayed out in my 8250 codeplug.

I believe the MDC fields are there strictly for the MTX1550/4550 series radios.

That's good news in a way. Maybe I'm not as dumb as I thought. I wasn't a" have to have" anyway. Just something I wanted to play with.
Thanks for the replies
