can you change the firmware of an HT1250 LS

Being rather unfamiliar with Motorola radios (been a Kenwood guy for years), I am curious if you can flash the firmware of a ht 1250 LS to make it the same firmware as a HT1250 with all the avaliable channels. If it is possible, what is the way to do it?
