Quantar Trunked to Intellirepeater

Post by JD2520 »

Anyone know if it is possible to take a trunked Quantar and make it into an Intellirepeater? I would think all you would have to do is get the right Station Control Module and plug it in. Anyone know?

The station also needs to have the extra memory chips on the main board that contain the IR firmware. They will say IntelliRepeater on them and give the rev such as 2.03, 4.1 etc. IIRC there are two standard memory chips and there would be two additional with the IR firmware. I dont have the manuals infront of me know to confirm the actual board names and the chip loactions.
