I have an XTL5000 on Smartnet (Type II) but I can't seem to get it to display trunk radio IDs. This codeplug was an import from an XTS2500 that does work and show IDs and Aliases. All the talkgroups and systems work just no ID display. Under Radio Configuration - Display & Menu I have PTT-ID ID Display and Scan ID Display both checked. Still no IDs or Alias.
The XTL is firmware 8. Is there a problem with this firmware that was corrected in a later version for ID Display? Does the ID Display only work on digital/P25 systems?

If the radio is flashed for ID Display it should work. Have you tried keying up the radio on the talkgroup then seeing if it displays ID's?
Will it display MDC1200 ID's or conventional ASTRO ID's?
I just looked at a codeplug from one of my XTL5000 radios on a Type II SmartNet and I remember that it did display ID's. The only thing I had to check off was the boxes in ther Display/Menu Tab, as you did.
