Was there special Maxtrac RSS for the data radios with firmware;
FVN4042C MOSCAD SMART V71.205
If so, what was it called??
I cannot read it with trunking, labtrunking, or Maxtrac LS.
Reading it with labmax conventional, it gets to the end of reading 64 blocks, then errors out.
Thanks!

You didn't say what frequency this Maxtrac operated at. If it's 800 Mhz, you would use the trunked Maxtrac RSS(Maxtracs), same as you would use for any type I trunked Maxtrac.

Hello :
I ran into the same thing you just did a few years back.
The firmware i had was V71.201 rather than your V71.205
But im thinking you probably need the same program i did then.
It was called MAXLS .
It was the program i needed then and it worked.
The diference i found was the radio did two diferent types of trunking programs in the same radio.
For example trunking types Ii and IIi both in the same radio.
Mine was a 800 mhz maxtrac with the 10/10/10 capability.

I don't think either of those suggestions are going to help...

MAXLS = Maxtrac LS (he's tried that)
Maxtracs = Trunking (he's tried that too)

Max-trac, there IS a different RSS package for those radios. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what it's called... I just remember a friend of mine who was heavily entrenched in the SCADA industry mentioning it at one point (can't ask him either - he passed away two years ago this Christmas).
