XTL mic via a rear connector on remote O5?

Someone at a local MSS stated they have installed the mic's off of a rear port on remote O5's. I haven't been able to track him down in some time, but has anyone here have the proper part numbers to make this happen, if it actually exists, or even seen it?

I am sure there are quite a few of us who would like this option.

I assume you mean one of the ports on the rear of the remote control head, and not the rear accy port on the radio itself?
