ASTRO Saber & XTS CPS

Post by LFD57 »

Hello all, Got my hands on a Astro Saber and already have the CPS. My question is: I can connect to the radio and read whats on it, but when i change ( or even dont touch anything) i cannot write the radio. Get a error screen of " Radio and Codeplug feature set are different"

Looking for help.

Thanks

The Astro Saber and the XTS series use different CPS software.

The Asto Saber uses Astro CPS and the XTS uses ASTRO25 CPS

Not exactly. The Astro Saber and the XTS 3000 use the same CPS.

All other XTS models (1500, 2500, 5000) use different CPS, and the bastard-child XTS 3500 uses its own RSS.

Original poster, what version of CPS are you using?

MODAT is the a form of unit signalling (a-la pre MDC). Its the infamous noise that everyone use to hear from LAPD. There is no practical application for it these days other than to play with and/or annoy people after awhile.
Lowband radio. The original and non-complicated wide area interoperable communications system
