G791 XTL1500 Enhanced Software Capabilities

Recently did a FLASHport upgrade to R12 on a PM1500 mobile and in the feature set is listed "G791 XTL1500 Enhanced Software Capabilities".
What's that all about? Is that the R12 feature set (one-touch, etc?)

From what I understand on the XTL1500's that upgrades the radio to 512 Channels, Software ADP and all of the 12.00.00 goodies.

Apparently that option was present back when the radio was running the ill-fated R08.01.03.
Anyone have any idea for sure?

Also adds a programmable scan list, which was my 2nd biggest :o about the 1500 after the small display...
