The LST-5 is powered by a standard BA-5590 battery inside a battery box shell. The battery box shell changes the round connector of the BA-5590 to a DB-9 female and gives 24 Volts DC.
You can see battery info here:
http://www.prc68.com/I/5590BA.shtml
I had a bunch of SatCom equipment and in that lot was an orphan AC power supply which should be for the LST-5. It contains a Lambda 24V DC switching supply and the DB-9 is wired as so:
1-
RED (Should be + 24V)
2- NC
3- Jumpered to 6 and 7
4-
BLACK (Should be - 24V), also jumpered to 9
5- NC
6- Jumpered to 3 and 7
7- Jumpered to 3 and 6
8- NC
9- Jumpered to 4
I can't guarantee that this is the LST-5 pinout so check to see if the wires you have figured out so far look right per the above.

Thank you very much for your information.
Before had your pin assignment, I was connected pin 5 jumpered pin 9 to GND and pin 3 jumpered pin 7 to +24v , pin 2 and pin 8 are original NC , pin 1 and pin 6 NC by myself, the radio can power up and operation normal...but can't found ON/OFF switch or button....

Murphy's Surplus near San Diego has the battery boxes for the LST-5 as well as the AC power supplies for them. Not cheap but then these radios are still worth a lot of money. See:
http://www.murphyjunk.bizland.com/id5.html
You can make a common flashlight battery insert for the LST-5 battery box, using the insert sold on the PRC-68 link I gave you above.
I don't know why you can't get the power switch to work. Maybe Murphy's has the operator's manual.
