What does this mean? This is the error I get when I am attempting to open MTS2000 CPS R02.02.00.

"This application has failed to start because FH50c.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

Tried re-installing, tried restarting windows, and tried a different comp. No luck.
Any help greatly appreciated!

If all else fails, try looking on the install disk for the file in question, and manually put it where it goes. Most likely, it goes in the file the program installed the rest of itself into.

Tried.. No such luck.

Never mentioned what version of Windows your running.......

You're right. Running XP.

FH50c.dll goes in: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Motorola\RDK\ADK7_2_SP04_SR2

Putting it into the MTS2000 installation directory won't work, the CPS is not looking for it there.

is this a factory cd you're installing it from? and are you doing a simple install putting it on c: and not a thumb drive or something like that? have you tried a different machine?

Just a shot in the dark, but are you installing this on a system that has no serial ports?

I am installing this from an E-mail.

My PC has serial ports.

Last I checked, Motorola software isn't distributed via email. CD or MOL download, that's about it. Get a legit version of the software, and things will probably work a lot better for you.
