I have never seen a UHF motorcycle radio in any other frequency split. Just a FYI they also made regular dash mounts in the much desired "R" split for some large customers. I have a few of these and they are great radios.

UHF Motorcycle Astro Spectras were produced in Ranges 2 (438-470), 3 (450-482) and 3.5 (453-490). Range 2 radios were also produced in 25w low power Dash (W3-W7), Trunk (W9), and Consolette (W7 and W9) configurations.

*sigh*

Where did I say that all R split radios are 438-470?

The fact that Motorola's model number schema makes use of the "R" split to indicate several adjacent UHF splits has been covered umptidy bajillion times here...

I said I had only seen R split radios that were 438-470 and had not seen others. I stand corrected.
