Batboard

We have been using a Dell Latitude for programming out CDM-1250's and minitor pagers. The laptop recently went in and had the operating system removed and reinstaled (win xp). The motorola software was the first and only software to be reloaded after installing XP. Now, I cannot seem to read or write to a radio. it says "unable to open com port". I CAN read a minitor 5, but cannot write to it. I searched for updated com port drivers but could not find anything that seemed appropriate.

Any ideas?
